LET’S END THE ERA OF PLASTIC PACKAGING!
NextGenPaper stands for deforestation-free, multifunctional paper packaging of almost any kind. NGP products can be conventionally processed and 100% recycled in the waste paper stream. Our message: Sustainable paper packaging is feasible for almost everything. Right now.
NGP is a paper-based packaging material combined with a patented dispersion coating. It has similar universal barrier properties as plastic, but can be easily disposed of in the waste paper stream. All NGP papers are comprehensively certified and deforestation-free. What's more, we are the only manufacturer in the world to even offer tree-free papers.
Many plastic substitute products and so-called bioplastic packaging contain PLA or PE, which can only be biodegraded or recycled in selected industrial plants under high energy input. NGP packaging solves this problem.
NGP packaging is free of harmful substances and has all necessary barrier properties for the sustainable safe packaging of food.
All NGP products are made from organic raw materials that are free of tree felling or deforestation and are produced according to strict sustainability criteria.
IN THE FIGHT AGAINST GLOBAL
An easy step into a new era: NGP multi-barrier papers can be produced under licence using a certified,
EU-compliant production process - without major conversion effort. NextGenPaper thus paves the way
helping the global economy to make a maximum contribution to plastic waste avoidance with minimal effort.
Disposable packaging is one of the key culprits when it comes to the current plastic waste crisis. Many consumers do not dispose recyclable packaging correctly or are not aware that even paper-like packaging contains too much plastic to be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way. With NGP this is finally about to change, even if consumers do not change their behaviour.
A REAL GAME-
The best thought-out packaging solution of the future is our multi-barrier paper made from sugar cane. Coated with our water-based multifunctional dispersion, it is optimally suited for countless types of packaging applications. For the industry, this means that a tree-free packaging alternative with optimum barrier properties will be available for almost any requirement.
A solution that consumes almost no additional raw materials and can be easily recycled in the waste paper stream.
